Mobile School is not a solution to the problems of street children, but tries to help other organisations work more efficiently at achieving their goals. Mobile School is part of a bigger picture.

What do we do?

1. Mobile School, a non-profit organisation, develops educational material, for outreach activities with street children on the streets. These materials take into account the frame of reference of the street children and are adapted to their daily reality in their environment. Everything is based on a strategy of positive and constructive pedagogy which enables the street educator to actively listen to the children. The strategy is based on empathy and empowerment. Mobile School offers these materials to their chosen partner-organisations.


2. Mobile School gives training and education to street educators. The methodologies that underly the development of the educational material are the foundation for this training.

3. Through awareness raising activities, the Mobile School tries to inform people about the reality of children and adolescents who live on the streets. By offering various multifacetted workshops we hope to stimulate our society to become more aware and create an open mentality towards a range of global issues.
