Poncho lives with his mother, brother, aunt, cousin and grandmother in a modest house in the countryside near the Mexican city of Querétaro. Because of the pandemic, Poncho's school was closed for almost two years. Poncho’s grandmother decided to bring Poncho and his siblings to the mobile school in Quéretaro during the pandemic.
The street educators of the mobile school are committed to supporting children and young people like Poncho daily. Jessika Martinez is the coordinator of the project and has been involved in the mobile school project since 2003. Every year, they have a great impact on the children and young people of Quéretaro.
With the help of the Forvia Foundation, we made this short film about the cheerful Poncho.
