As manager of Mobile School, Rob combines an efficient and empathic approach towards people and organisations. He has more than 10 years of experience in training and coaching street educators worldwide. Reaching maximum social impact on children and youth in vulnerable situations is the main driver of his work.
Arnoud developed the very first prototype of the mobile school for his thesis in Product Design. After founding Mobile School, he successfully translated the skills of the street kids he worked with into a model to realise impact on businesses with StreetwiZe. He is our managing director and an internationally recognised social entrepreneur, Ashoka Fellow and author of the book ‘StreetwiZe: What managers can learn from street kids'.
Sander coordinates all mobile school projects in Africa and Asia. He combines his street experience in over 15 countries with unbridled enthusiasm, a positive focus and a healthy curiosity to maximise impact on local street work teams. Besides training and coaching teams on-site, he also makes sure our educational offer is available both on- and offline.
Joke’s fascination for other languages and cultures comes in handy in her role as coordinator of Mobile School’s partnerships in Europe and Latin America. She trains local street work teams on-site and is responsible for the subsequent follow-up and coaching. She also makes sure that our training materials are up to par, by standardising and digitising them.
As Content & Communication Officer, Lies is responsible for managing our social media pages, keeping our website up to date, rolling out new graphical designs and sending you our latest e-newsletters. Educational technology makes her really happy, that's why she's also part of the StreetSmart team.
As a volunteer coordinator, Saskia was busy with our volunteer policy, connecting volunteers with our mission, supporting and following up the many tasks that volunteers perform. In addition, she was responsible for the campaigns that we organise. This ranges from original ways to put the organisation in the spotlight to positive ways to communicate about street children.
Wim is responsible for finance, social impact measurement and digital development for StreetwiZe and Mobile School. With a background of engineering, consultancy and finance, he aims to apply his analytical skills to maximise social impact.
Joyce is responsible for managing and streamlining the back-office of Mobile School, including sales support for StreetwiZe, event support for Mobile School Campaigns and general administrative and logistical support for the whole organisation.
Toña has been a part of the Mobile School trainer network since 2003. Apart from being a Mobile School trainer, she is a storyteller, a writer, a clown and a musician. This allows her to sprinkle the trainings and coaching sessions with a big dose of creativity and fun. Bringing people together is what gives her energy.
Jessika leads the mobile school team of partner Alimentos para la Vida in Querétaro. After 14 years of working with the mobile school, she has become a real expert. Her vast experience is a big added value when training and coaching local street educators.
Bram uses his experience as a fulltime street worker in Brussels to inspire street workers from all over the world. As a trainer, he strongly believes in the unique vision of Mobile School and in the power of experience-based learning to coach teams from different cultural backgrounds in their work with street-connected children.
As a teacher, Koen brings a solid experience in experiential, inquiry-based and student-centered education. Inspired by the streets, he combines this with an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive focus, always ready to learn.
Hans is a trainer for both StreetwiZe and Mobile School. He uses his experience with individuals and teams within profit organisations to inspire and challenge social workers during the Mobile School field trainings and vice versa. He’s energised by making teams grow and reach their targets.
As a partner at StreetwiZe, Eric developed extensive experience in training, facilitating and coaching people in different companies and contexts. His choice to combine this with a role as a trainer for Mobile School comes from an unconditional belief in the hybrid approach of the organisation and in the power of play as a learning and development tool.
Robert leads the local mobile school team (GPU UNO) in Bytom, Poland. As a Mobile School trainer he combines his extensive experience as a street educator and his training skills to deliver an unforgettable experience for new and experienced Mobile School partners.
Junieth is a hard working challenge seeker, a natural leader and a beginning social entrepreneur. The StreetwiZe Street Skills Model is partly based on her inspiring story. Junieth grew up as a street child and worked her way up to becoming a communications specialist. Her background and experience of working with the mobile school in Matagalpa make her the perfect co-facilitator for trainings in Nicaragua.
Janet combines a wealth of street experience with a true passion for street-connected youth. As the coordinator of the mobile school team of our partner Glad’s House in the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, Janet is our go-to person to co-facilitate training programmes in Anglophone East-Africa.
