Despite the fundamental right to healthcare, housing, education, etc., not all children have equal access to these rights. Armed conflicts, natural disasters, poverty, pandemics, and other challenges exacerbate existing inequalities, making it even more difficult for young people in vulnerable groups to claim their rights.

In 2022, we at MobileSchool.org, in collaboration with Uit De Marge, European Playwork Association (e.p.a), and ARSIS, within the framework of an Erasmus+ project, developed an educational toolkit around children's rights: 'All Children, All Right(s)!' This toolkit not only provides guidelines and methodologies for youth workers to practically apply the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, but also to help children reach their full potential.

Many youth workers are familiar with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), but do not always know how to apply it in practice. Therefore, our toolkit includes 11 educational posters, 10 audio stories, games & activities, and 6 training programmes. To give tools to not only youth workers but also teachers, we have designed a special teaching package for the third grade of primary school based on this toolkit. It consists of two 50-minute lessons.

  • Lesson 1: A general introduction to the theme of children's rights, with an in-depth exploration of the different dimensions of children's rights.
  • Lesson 2: The opportunity to deepen the theme, with practical exploration using educational posters, using two options.

Curious about the full toolkit? Then be sure to take a look at our website. For interest in other topics such as relationships and sexuality, health, or financial literacy, please refer to our other educational materials.
