For every €50 raised through Run for Street Kids, we make one mobile school session possible. During such a session, children learn basic skills, work on health and hygiene, explore their creativity, and gradually build self-confidence.

The goal for 2026 is ambitious: 3.000 mobile school sessions. This is only possible thanks to the combined efforts of runners, supporters, companies, and partners. Thanks to the hybrid business model of Mobile School vzw, 100% of the funds raised go directly to these sessions.

Join Run for Street Kids

Participation is simple and happens in two steps:

  1. Register for the Leuven Marathon via the official marathon website (10 km, half marathon, or marathon).
  2. Sign up for Run for Street Kids for free and join the Mobile School running team.

Those who wish can order the official Run for Street Kids sports shirt, making you easily recognizable as part of the team and visibly sharing the story along the course.
Registered runners gain access to the Mobile School Runner Hub in Leuven, just a 10-minute walk from the start and finish. The hub provides space for a calm pre-race preparation and post-race relaxation, including changing rooms, showers, and healthy snacks.

Support Run for Street Kids

Runners can be sponsored for their athletic performance, involving friends, family, or colleagues in the cause. When joining the team, we can – if desired – create a personal fundraising page for you, making it easy and accessible to collect support.
